Flight Brigade in Concert

Flight Brigade deliver wickedly memorable songs that burst with heart-felt energy. Combining uplifting melodies with moments of powerful poignancy, this South London seven-piece create a rich tapestry of sound which revolves around the song-writing talents of singer Oliver Baines.
Born to an American mother and English Father, Baines grew up in rural Ohio and New York before moving to England where he met violinist Dorry Hughes. The acoustic duo teamed up with musician friends from college - Brigitte Beraha, Thomas Pink, Neil Blandford and Tom Clay - and in late 2009 the puzzle was complete when Dorry's sister, accordion player Miriam Hughes, joined proceedings. Fuelled by a shared love for melodic, meaningful music, these seven friends knew from the outset they had something beautiful.
